Seeding Process and Submissions

Seeding Process:

A Seeding Committee made up of BNS staff and basketball representatives from across the province oversees the seeding process. The Committee will review all seeding submissions and pertinent information and seed teams accordingly. Their mandate is to collaborate with club contacts and coaches to ensure a fair and accurate seeding process.

Reminder: Teams play a critical role in this process by providing the required data to make informed seeding decisions - an important piece of the seeding process. The more detailed and accurate data provided the clearer and more accurate the divisional placement.

Seeding Submissions

Communication of Seeding Placements:

A DRAFT seeding placement will be sent three (3) weeks in advance of the tournament. There will be a 3-day grace period once that draft is released where teams will be able to complete a Seeding Change Request Form and give reason for the requested change to their seeding placement.
