Held every two years, alternating between winter and summer, the Canada Games brings together over 2,000 able-bodied athletes and athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities for the largest amateur multi-sport event in the country.
The Games span over 35 different events and showcase the very best in Canadian sport. But most importantly, the Games bring us together to celebrate the very best in Canadian spirit. They are a true reflection of what it means to be Canadian and embody our collective belief that we can all do and be something greater — as individuals, as a community and as a country.
Nova Scotia will field both U18 female & male teams to represent Nova Scotia at the games. At this time we are taking coach applications for Head Coaches interested in on our teams. Coaches interested in being on our male & female Canada Games Teams coaching staffs are required to apply and go through an evaluation and interview. At this time, the full assessment and interview process and timeline have not been confirmed. Although, we are asking interested coaches to apply. Before you apply, we ask that you review our:
