Halifax, NS (July 3, 2019) – Basketball Nova Scotia is excited to announce the Frank Baldwin Award Winners at the 2019 Eastlink Classic Basketball tournament. The award is presented to those individuals who, like Frank, have dedicated their time to building the sport of basketball. This year, three individuals will receive recognition as builders of the game who have spent timeless hours giving back on the court.

“Each recipient has inspired and positively impacted so many young basketball players and coaches in our basketball community. Basketball is in such an exciting place right now and this is a great opportunity to recognize those individuals who have been consistent in their love of the game” quotes Katherine Brien, Executive Director of Basketball Nova Scotia.

The Frank Baldwin Award recognizes the countless hours volunteers have dedicated to building, supporting and growing the sport of basketball. This year we are proud to recognize the following individuals;

Colter Simmonds – We Will Win Youth

Keith Andrews – Kennetcook Area Minor Basketball Association

Maria Fraser – Antigonish Minor Basketball Association

The recipients and families will be recognized at halftime during the Competitive Male Final on July 7^th, 2019 at the Canada Games Centre. Our incredible partners at Eastlink will emcee the presentations. The Competitive Male and Female finals, and award presentations, can be viewed by Eastlink customers on Channel 10 and HD 610.
