Jr. NBA Global Championships

A Canada Basketball
& NBA Canada Partnership

The Jr. NBA is a national youth basketball program designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship and a love of the game of basketball. In partnership with Canada Basketball and designed for 5-12 year olds, Jr. NBA empowers basketball communities, clubs and facilities to positively impact youth through the sport of basketball. The Jr. NBA focuses on a holistic approach to athlete development based off of the Sport Canada Long-Term-Athlete Development Model.

The Jr. NBA program is currently offered through Basketball Nova Scotia member clubs and through the Halifax Regional Municipality Recreation Department.

If you are a current Basketball Nova Scotia member club, you can start a Jr. NBA program at your club.
