2023 Team Scotia Tryouts

National Teams

Representing Nova Scotia

Team Nova Scotia 2023

Would you like to the opportunity to Represent Nova Scotia at the 2023 National Championships? Register for our OPEN Tryouts in December on 3rd and 4th for girls and Dec 10th and 11th for boys for Provincial Teams for U15 to U17 boys and girls. Programming for U14 Players will be  announced at a later date so please stay tuned for that!

We understand that for some athletes there may be schedule conflicts as this is the middle of basketball season. We cannot manage all the various tournaments at the club and high school levels and still be able to schedule a time that can work for everyone. If there is a need for folks to be evaluated outside these dates we will arrange another time slot.

Athletes who are unable to attend tryout for medical, or School/team conflicts will need to contact the Technical Director directly to be granted the alternative evaluation process.
(Note: The alternative evaluation will only be granted to athletes who have been identified and invited by Basketball Nova Scotia to the final round of tryouts)

A mandatory zoom call with the Technical Director will be held with the parents of all players registered for tryouts to explain the process and the expected details/commitment for athletes who are selected to the team.

All Athletes who participated in the High Performance ID Camp must wear their reversible numbered jersey to all tryouts to allow easy identification. Anyone registering who has not participated in the previous high-performance ID camp will be required to order a jersey from us beforehand. Registrations will be closed on November 30th to allow time for us to get things organized ahead of time.
