Canada Basketball will host the first U14 Club National Championships from May 21-24, 2027 in Niagara, Ontario.
Nova Scotia has been allocated six team berths at Club Nationals: three Boys teams and three Girls teams.
Basketball Nova Scotia will use the U14 Division 1 Provincial Club Championships to award Nova Scotia's six berths at the Canada Basketball U14 Club National Championships.
The teams that finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Boys Division 1 championship and the teams that finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Girls Division 1 championship will each earn the opportunity to accept one of Nova Scotia's six berths.
For 2027, the U14 Boys and Girls Division 1 Provincial Club Championships will be held March 5-7.
Division 1 is being held earlier because these championships will also serve as Nova Scotia's qualifying competition for Club Nationals in May. Selecting the qualifying teams earlier gives clubs additional time to prepare for the national event, including fundraising, travel, accommodations and other participation requirements.

The Boys and Girls Division 1 Provincial Club Championships will also serve as the Nova Scotia qualifying competition for the Canada Basketball U14 Club National Championships.
U14 Division 2 and lower Provincial Club Championships are not moving.
They remain scheduled for April 24-25, 2027.
The teams that finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Boys Division 1 Provincial Club Championship, and the teams that finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Girls Division 1 Provincial Club Championship, will each earn the opportunity to accept one of Nova Scotia's six berths at the Canada Basketball U14 Club National Championships.
A qualifying team is not required to accept its berth. If a team declines, BNS will offer the available berth to another eligible team as needed.
Teams must meet the applicable Basketball Nova Scotia and Canada Basketball membership and eligibility requirements.
Athletes must be 14 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2027.
Born in 2013 or later
The roster used for Club Nationals must be the same roster that qualified the team through the U14 Division 1 Provincial Club Championships.
