Seeding helps Basketball Nova Scotia place teams in divisions that support competitive and meaningful championship games.
The Seeding Committee reviews the information submitted by teams and uses it to place teams into divisions. Complete information helps BNS compare teams across regions and build competitive brackets.
Teams are responsible for submitting accurate, complete information by the applicable deadline. Submit seeding packages using the seeding submission form provided by BNS (Form will be online when registration opens).

If your club expects to enter a U14 team at the Division 1 level, or believes a team may be competitive at that level, email Basketball Nova Scotia as soon as possible at bballnovascotia@gmail.com.
Early notice will help BNS understand the potential Division 1 field across the province and support the seeding process. It does not replace the January 15 team entry, roster and seeding requirements that apply to the team.
