Wendy’s AUS Youth Team of the Month - Celebrating Outstanding Youth Sport Teams Across Atlantic Canada
Basketball Nova Scotia is pleased to partner with Atlantic University Sport (AUS) and Wendy’s to recognize outstanding youth sport teams across Atlantic Canada through the Wendy’s AUS Youth Team of the Month program.
The program celebrates youth teams that demonstrate excellence both on and off the field of play, recognizing their accomplishments, dedication and positive impact within their teams and communities.
Celebrate Your Team’s Success
Throughout the 2026-27 AUS Competition Season — September, October, November, January and February — two Atlantic Canadian youth sport teams will be selected each month to receive:
- $500 financial team award through the Wendy’s AUS Youth Sport Team Grant
- Recognition across AUS social media
- Regional recognition for your team’s accomplishments
Who Can Be Nominated?
Teams may be nominated for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
- Athletic achievement
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Community involvement
- Academic success
- Perseverance
- Positive impact on their team or community
- A combination of these qualities
Whether your team has achieved success on the court, made an impact in your community, overcome challenges or demonstrated exceptional teamwork and leadership, we want to hear about it!
