EVALUATION & SELECTION PROCESS:

At the beginning of the program (each fall), identification (ID) sessions will be run across the eight (8) regions. This allows for proper identification of program participants. Athletes will be selected for the program at these sessions, identified by evaluators (at least 1 per 10 athletes), based on this evaluation criteria.
Basketball Nova Scotia has the discretion to identify athletes outside of ID sessions (at club or school games, practices etc.) and invite them into the program, based on the program criteria.

Athletes will be evaluated throughout the duration of each block and the top athletes from each region will be invited to the centralized weekend. Numbers per region may vary.

PROGRAM COST:

Athletes will be responsible for a participation fee for each program block. Athletes can select to participate in all training blocks or individual ones. This flexibility is to assist with families with busy schedules or for athletes who participate in other sports.

A discounted fee will be available upon program registration for those signing up for all training blocks.
